BIOGRAPHY
Gina Butorovich started as a Radiation Therapist and CT Simulation technician at Cochise Oncology in Sierra Vista, Arizona. She quickly moved into Dosimetry under the mentorship of another Dosimetrist and a Board-Certified Physicist. She has been the Dosimetrist at Cochise Oncology since 2009.
She is passionate about radiation safety and program training. Gina has helped to further develop the radiation department training for new staff, technical and administrative. Although Gina has experience with all varieties of malignancies, she has an affinity for breast cancer, head and neck cancer, and simultaneous in-field boost planning. Each provider at Cochise Oncology has mentored and helped to expand her skills. She has extensive experience with external beam image-guided radiation therapy techniques, including stereotactic body radiation therapy, Hippocampal Sparing Whole Brain IMRT, and intensity-modulated radiation therapy. She strives to provide the best support to the therapists, physicists, administration, and radiation oncologists. She is committed to lifelong learning and being a part of excellence in cancer care.

Gina lives in Cochise County with her husband and cats. She enjoys traveling, puzzles, scrapbooking, and reading.
